Welcome to VaVie website. Stated below are the Terms & Conditions (“T&C”) governing the placing of orders and the use of our website www.vavie.com.sg. These T& C is only applicable to VaVie water element and shall govern the rights and liabilities of VaVie (“We”, “Our”, or “Us”), and the Customer (“You” or “Your”) as a buyer of any product from VaVie website. These T&C are legally binding and you accept these T&C when you use this website. We reserve the right to make changes to these T&C from time to time which shall take effect immediately from the date of posting on our website. Accessing, browsing or otherwise using the site and its services indicates your agreement to all these T&C stated in this agreement, so please read this agreement carefully before proceeding. If you do not agree and accept these T&C or any part of them you should stop using this website immediately.
Registration and Information
When you register to use our website or to purchase our products and services, you are required to provide us with your email, mailing address and other personal details. These personal details are required for us to manage and process and track your purchase. After registering with us, your customer ID will be automatically acquired. You must ensure that the username, password and the customer ID are not made available to any third party. Do not reveal your account information to anyone else. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account and for all activities that occur on or through your account, and you are obliged to inform us immediately of any misuse of your username, password or customer ID. In such cases, we may cancel your account at any time without giving reasons and we will deactivate or delete your account and all data saved. Please also refer to our Privacy Policy for information relating to the collection, use and protection of your personal information by us.
Purchase Policy
You hereby acknowledge and agree that any purchase by you from our website is made between VaVie and you. By clicking on the “I have read and accepted” button, you agrees and accepts (and is deemed to have irrevocably agreed and accepted) that this T&C and Privacy Policy for VaVie website will govern the relationship between you and VaVie for any purchase made by you.
Pricing Policy
The prices of our products are inclusive of prevailing Good and Service Tax (GST) and shall be the price stated on our order form. Where no price is stated on our order form, the price shall be the price listed in our price list or website which shall be current at the date and time of your order.
Although we try to ensure all our prices displayed on our website are accurate, errors may sometimes occur. If we discover an error in the price of an item you have ordered we will contact you as soon as possible. You will have the option to reconfirm your order at the correct price or cancel it. We will also reserve the right to change the price of the products and services at any time before delivery of the products and services to reflect any increase in the cost to us which may be due to factors beyond our control (for example, any foreign exchange fluctuation, currency regulation, alteration of import or other duties, increases in labour, materials or other manufacturing costs, changes in delivery dates, quantities or specifications for the products or services requested by you or any delay caused by any information or instructions given by you or a failure by you to provide us with any adequate information or instructions). Also, the price for our products on our VaVie online store may or may not be at the retail counters.
We do not accept any liability for any discrepancy between the prices in our retail counters and online store. Also, from time to time, especially during sales or promotional periods, we may offer additional discounts for purchases online from VaVie website that does not apply to the retail counters or vice versa.
Delivery
You may choose any of the following delivery options when placing your order with us:
- Self-Collection (applicable for Singapore purchases only)
- For self-collection, you can collect your order at our factory (8A Admiralty Street, #06-28 FoodXchange@Admiralty Singapore757437) from 8:30am to 6:00pm from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 12:30pm on Saturday (except for Public Holidays). You are required to provide IC verification as well as invoice of purchase.
- Local Delivery
- There will be free delivery service.
- International Delivery (applicable for International purchases only)
- For international delivery, all orders will be delivered. You will be subjected to the international mail rates stated as well as import taxes, custom duties and other fees related to international delivery.
- Delivery should be acknowledged by you or your authorized recipient during the delivery on the invoice presented by the delivery personnel. You should ensure that an authorized recipient is present at the delivery address during the selected timeslot to receive the delivery, failing which, VaVie reserves the right to charge you a re-delivery fee for each subsequent trip.
Evidence of Delivery
Your order will be deemed to be delivered once we receive the authorised couriers' delivery note/invoice which, when and whosoever signed as acknowledgement of receipt of the product and services, will be proof of delivery by us of the products and services specified therein.
Failure to take Delivery
If you fail to take delivery of the products and services or if you fail to give us adequate delivery information and instructions when placing your order with us, VaVie reserves the right to store the products ordered until actual delivery and charge you for the extra costs for storage and second or subsequent delivery.
Payment
The mode of payment for online purchases is strictly via Paypal, Visa, and Master Cards. We shall issue receipts for all payments received by us. Time of payment for the price of the products and services shall be of the essence. The product will be sent out only after payment has been received.
Cancellation
We will not accept the cancellation of any products and services once the order has been made (except for the faulty products, please refer to the Returns Policy). We do not offer any refund for VaVie products.
We shall be entitled to cancel the purchase or suspend any further deliveries to you without any liability whatsoever, if you make any voluntary arrangement with your creditors or become bankrupt or become subject to an administration order or go into liquidation, have a receiver, liquidator or administrator appointed over any of your property or assets, cease, or threaten to cease, to carry on business, or if we reasonably believe that any of the above mentioned events is about to occur to you.
Returns
All products, once sold are non-returnable. However, exceptions will be made for wrong delivery or faulty products provided they are reported to Customer Service within 3 days upon acceptance of delivery. All such products must be returned to us in their original packaging within 14 days of receipt of goods for replacement of the product whichever applies. All replacement of products must be accompanied with the original sales invoice with the date of purchase and serial number clearly printed on it for verification. Replacement of products will be done by our deliveryman. Please note that we may request for you to email/send pictures of damaged or defective merchandise.
For overseas replacement, you have to return us the products and bear the return freight charges, or liaise with our dealers or distributors in your country. Upon receipt of the products, VaVie will send the replacement product(s) via mail. Normal delivery lead time applies.
All replacements are at your responsibilities until they reach our office.
Warranty
This warranty is valid for product installed and used in Singapore only. The warranty period is valid for one (1) year from the date of purchase, provided that you have register the warranty online or mail to us the warranty card within 14 days of purchase. The warranty guarantees the products and all parts thereof to be free from defects in material and workmanship. Any application under this warranty is limited to the repairing, or replacement of any part which proves to be defective within the warranty period.
E-warranty registration is only applicable for customers in Singapore who have purchased VaVie product(s) from our online store or authorised retailers or dealers. Upon successful registration, an acknowledgement email will be sent to you. By submitting your e-warranty application, you have agreed to all terms and conditions for this warranty. If you wish to extend your warranty beyond the date of expiry, please contact our customer service hotline and we will be glad to assist you.
This warranty does not cover damages and/or defects resulting from:
- Accidents, abuse, misuse, improper installation, or any manner of tampering
- Usage of wrong electrical supply/voltage
- Usage not in accordance with the operation instructions
- Any unauthorized repairs
- Any alteration or modification made to the product
- Normal usage wear and tear, finishes or consumables
- Corrosion, rusting or stains
- Losses, damages, defects and malfunctions caused by fire
This warranty does not cover:
- Parts requiring replacement due to normal wear and tear, corrosion or stain
- Damage due to other equipment/solutions being used in conjunction with this unit
- Transportation, delivery and incidental cost incurred in fulfilment of this warranty.
In no event shall VaVie be liable to the purchaser for any consequential damages or loss including, without limitation, injury to person or property and loss of use of the products. Please retain the original purchase receipt for verification purposes when required. This warranty is invalid if the serial number on the product has been altered, defaced or removed.
VaVie reserves all rights to replace any product with another of similar value if deemed appropriate, subject to availability.
Maintenance Service
Free installation, one (1) year free maintenance service (twice a year), and two (2) years free filters replacement (when the filter life expires, depend on the usage & turbidity of water) are provided for every purchase of our products and for purchase made in Singapore only. Free servicing shall be provided to ensure that the product is in working condition, which includes checking the product for water leakage and electrical parts, etc. We will call you every 6 months to fix appointment for maintenance service and filter replacement (when the filter life expires). Or you shall call us if necessary. The free maintenance service is for on-site service only. There will be additional two ways transportation charges if the faulty unit needs to be bought back to our workshop for repair. For any service call due to the fault cause by other sources, such as water supply being accidentally turned off by someone else, but which is not due to the fault from the unit, there will be an additional transportation charge after verification by our technician.
Liability and Waivers
We will not be liable for any product lost: caused as a result of any inaccuracy in the order or information you have provided us and shall not be liable for any loss arising from any errors made in the order that you have placed with us; or caused by fair wear and tear, wilful damage, negligence, abnormal working conditions, failure to follow our instructions or misuse or alteration or repair of the products without our express written approval.
Intellectual Property Rights
The images, graphics, text, pictures, sounds, animations and videos applets and scripts operating, operating in, or which form part of, this website as well as their arrangements on our website owned by VaVie and are subject to the laws of copyright and other related rights. The contents of this website may not be copied, distributed, changed or made available to third parties. Our website may also include pictures, which are subject to the copyrights of third parties. Unless otherwise stated all trademarks on our website are also protected. You may not make any commercial use of any information provided on the website or make any use of the website for the benefit of other business unless explicitly permitted by us in advance. No permission to use our intellectual property or the intellectual property of third parties on our website is granted. You are also prohibited from providing a link to this website or displaying any web pages which form part of this website in any html frame without obtaining our or the relevant third party's express written permission before doing so.
Accuracy of Information
- images, graphics, text, pictures, sounds, animations and videos applets and scripts operating, operating in, or which form part of, this website is provided on an “as is” basis. We make no representations, endorsements or warranties as to their accuracy. We will not be liable for any action taken (or not taken) in reliance upon the images, graphics, text, pictures, sounds, animations and videos applets and scripts operating, operating in, or which form part of, this website which action shall be taken entirely at your own risk. We reserve the right to make any changes to the images, graphics, text, pictures, sounds, animations and videos applets and scripts operating, operating in, or which form part of, this website without notice and without liability to you.
The Internet
We do not have control over the Internet or over the means through which you have gained access to this website. We accept no responsibility and shall not be liable for any service interruption or the transmission of viruses or other harmful computer code through this website.
The Law
The laws of the Republic of Singapore shall govern these terms and conditions and the courts of the Republic of Singapore shall have jurisdiction over any disputes between us and you in respect of these terms and conditions and the use of this website.
